Discover the grape variety: Genovèse

Simple, fresh dry whites with a pale golden colour, a supple palate and preserved acidity, showing undemonstrative aromas of citrus (lemon), white flowers and Mediterranean herbal notes. Rustic, airy profile to drink young. Preserved for its heritage value in a few confidential plots in Provence and Corsica, among the ancient varieties under study. Native white variety from south-east France, almost extinct since phylloxera.

The wine region of Marmara

Northwestern Turkey bordered by the Black, Marmara and Aegean seas, Ganos and Strandja ranges, limestone and terra rossa soils, temperate humid climate. Signature Papazkarasi as native red king: supple and fruity with cherry, raspberry, plum, Mediterranean herbs and a peppery touch, fine tannins and refreshing palate. Native Karalahna and Adakarasi in denser reds, firm Cabernet and peppery Syrah as complement. Sub-zones Thrace and Canakkale in revival.

The word of the wine: Vinification of sweet wines

Moelleux and liquoreux wines are characterized by the presence of residual sugars (natural sugar of the grape), not transformed into alcohol under the effect of yeasts. The fermentation is stopped by cold and by the addition of sulphur dioxide (sulphur).
