The wine region of Messinia

The wine region of Messinia is located in the region of Peloponnesos of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Bay Vineyard or the Domaine Navarino produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Messinia are Chardonnay, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
