A very old variety of table grape. It is believed to be a cross between the khourmany kizil or ichkimar and the sultana. The wine region of Vinsobres is located in the region of Rhône méridional of Rhone Valley of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Famille Perrin or the Cave La Vinsobraise produce mainly wines red and sweet.
