The wine region of Valle Isarco is located in the region of Südtirol - Alto Adige of Trentin-Haut-Adige of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Köfererhof or the Domaine Strasserhof produce mainly wines white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Valle Isarco are Kerner, Sylvaner and Riesling, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Valle Isarco often reveals types of flavors of citrus fruit, tree fruit or earth and sometimes also flavors of microbio, oak or tropical fruit.
In the mouth of Valle Isarco is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of Valle Isarco, producing 12 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture.
