Discovering the wine region of Pella
The wine region of Pella is located in the region of Macedonia of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Ktima Ligas or the Domaine Ktima Ligas produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Pella are Merlot, Xinomavro and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Pella often reveals types of flavors of oaky, orange or black fruit and sometimes also flavors of red fruit, cranberry or cherry.
We currently count 5 estates and châteaux in the of Pella, producing 24 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Pella go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, game (deer, venison) or lamb.
