The wine region of Ihringen is located in the region of Baden of Germany. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Stigler or the Domaine Stigler produce mainly wines white and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Ihringen are Riesling, Chardonnay and Chenin blanc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Ihringen often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of black fruit, microbio or oak.
In the mouth of Ihringen is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 4 estates and châteaux in the of Ihringen, producing 19 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Ihringen go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, veal or game (deer, venison).
