The wine region of Aveyron is located in the region of Comté Tolosan of Vin de Pays of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Nicolas Carmarans or the Domaine Nicolas Carmarans produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Aveyron are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chenin blanc and Fer-servadou, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Aveyron often reveals types of flavors of cranberry, leather or tropical fruit and sometimes also flavors of citrus fruit, tree fruit or vegetal.
We currently count 16 estates and châteaux in the of Aveyron, producing 30 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Aveyron go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.
