The wine region of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru is located in the region of Puligny-Montrachet of Burgundy of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Leflaive or the Château de Puligny Montrachet produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru are Chardonnay et Pinot noir, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru often reveals types of flavors of peach, orange or floral and sometimes also flavors of lychee, grapefruit or smoke.
In the mouth of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 39 estates and châteaux in the of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, producing 41 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or shellfish.
