The wine region of Pazardjik is located in the region of Plovdiv of Bulgaria. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Bessa Valley or the Domaine Bessa Valley produce mainly wines red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Pazardjik are Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Pazardjik often reveals types of flavors of oak, black cherries or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of black fruit, floral or dried fruit.
We currently count 1 estates and châteaux in the of Pazardjik, producing 19 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Pazardjik go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or game (deer, venison).
