The wine region of Blackwood Valley is located in the region of South West Australia of Australie de l'Ouest of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Optimus or the Domaine Evoi produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Blackwood Valley are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Tempranillo, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Blackwood Valley often reveals types of flavors of spices, red fruit or earth and sometimes also flavors of oak, black fruit or non oak.
