Structured, full-bodied dry whites with a golden robe, an ample palate with moderate acidity. Signature aromas of ripe yellow fruits, white flowers, almond and honey. Also made as a mellow or sweet passito in Tuscan Vin Santo (long straw-drying). A traditional component of Tuscan and Umbrian whites, defining the identity of central Italy. French synonym for the Italian Malvasia Bianca Lunga.

The wine region of Mittelrhein

Confidential gem of the German Middle Rhine, a UNESCO landscape. Signature Riesling (~65%): pure, chiselled whites with signature notes of lime, green apple, white peach, white flowers and marked slate minerality ("gunflint"), taut acidity and crystalline tension — from dry to sweet. Also light Müller-Thurgau and fine Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). ~461 ha on vertiginous terraces over steep schist overlooking the river.

The word of the wine: Nervous

Said of a wine that leaves its mark on the palate with its strong characters and a hint of acidity, but without excess.
