Intensely coloured, fruity reds with a dense purple robe, soft tannins and a generous palate, with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, plum and floral notes. Made as light easy-drinking reds, popular semi-dry cuvées and more structured barrel-aged versions. The second most planted red variety in Germany (Palatinate, Rheinhessen, Württemberg). The wine region of Morava

Predominantly white region, lively and mineral: crisp, peppery Grüner Veltliner, taut Riesling with citrus, supple, floral Müller-Thurgau, aromatic Pálava, the local signature (muscat, white flowers). More discreet reds: spicy Frankovka (Blaufränkisch) with black fruits, fine, silky Saint Laurent. Temperate continental climate, 4 sub-regions: Mikulov, Velké Pavlovice, Znojmo, Slovácko. ~96% of the Czech vineyard, 73 grapes grown.

The word of the wine: Assemblage (Champagne)

In Champagne, it is the art of blending still wines from different grape varieties (pinot meunier, pinot noir, chardonnay), from different terroirs (villages, areas) and often from different years. The incorporation of older wines, called reserve wines, allows for greater aromatic complexity.
