Structured, aromatic whites with lively acidity and an ample mouth, featuring intense aromas of exotic fruits (pineapple, mango, passion fruit), ripe citrus, yellow peach, white flowers, honey and sweet spices. AOC from Béarn at the gates of Pau (~1,000 ha across 25 communes in the South-West, clay-conglomerate soils with calcareous pebbles, temperate climate moderated by Spanish foehn, morning mists and sunny afternoons from the Pyrenees): signature Gros Manseng (70%) — dry white profile with aromas of peach, pear, citrus and subtle smoky minerality, taut acidity balancing the medium body. Petit Manseng (25%), Courbu and Lauzet as rare indigenous complements.
The word of the wine: Suave
Said of a fine and unctuous wine.
