Mainly used for sweet wines. Grown on very small surfaces in Germany, remains niche and preserved for its ampelographic value. German white grape obtained at Geisenheim (Reichensteiner x Kerner), early-ripening and resistant.

Star Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder): fine, fresh reds with notes of cherry, raspberry, undergrowth and sweet spices, silky tannins and a delicate style. Also light, floral Müller-Thurgau and precise Chardonnay.
