Structured, intensely coloured reds with a deep ruby colour, firm tannins and dense palate, showing signature aromas of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), plum, spices, Mediterranean herbs and balsamic notes. Good Friulian ageing potential. Star of the Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC and Friuli Aquileia DOC, making the great aged reds of Friuli. Native Italian black variety from Friuli, whose name evokes the red colour of the bunch stem.

The wine region of Valdeorras

Galicia DO on the Sil valley, schist and granite terraces. Signature Godello white king (native revival): ample and mineral with notes of white apple, pear, peach, fennel, white flowers and a slate touch, taut and lengthy palate — a great Spanish white capable of ageing. Mencía star red: fine and fresh with notes of black cherry, blackberry, white pepper, violet and mineral touch, fine tannins. Roman winegrowing cradle.

Oceanic northwest Spain, cradle of the great Iberian whites. Signature Albarino of Rias Baixas: lively, saline whites with signature notes of citrus, white peach, white flowers, fresh almond and iodine minerality, a taut palate — a perfect match for Atlantic seafood. Must obtained in excess of the 2 550 litres authorised for a weight of 4 000 kilos of grapes. The first 2 050 litres constitute the cuvée and the next 500 litres the taille. The rebêche represents 1 to 3 % of the total volume and must be distilled or used to make ratafia.
