Château Mezain is a historic vineyard located in Haut-Médoc, France. It has been part of the region's winemaking tradition for over a century. This large vineyard was established in 1880 and is appreciated for its premium wines produced using quality grapes at optimum ripeness. The nursery of Château Mezain is a legacy from the past, maintained by the owner for over a hundred years, and includes Bordeaux grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, as well as local varieties such as Bourboulenc, Colombard and Sauvignon. Château Mezain focuses on producing superior quality wine. The vineyard stretches over plots of about 12 hectares and is located near the banks of the Gironde River. The vines are situated in an ideal climate for vine cultivation, as they are protected from maritime winds by high cliffs and also have very fertile soils.
