Structured, tannic reds, deeply coloured, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, tobacco and graphite, underpinned by firm acidity and fine ageing potential. The wine region of Valais

Switzerland's largest vineyard, capital of native grapes. Straight, precise alpine whites: light, floral Chasselas (Fendant), signature Petite Arvine with saline, grapefruit and rhubarb notes, rich, apricoty Amigne, mineral Humagne Blanche. Altitude reds: fine Pinot Noir, crisp Gamay, native Cornalin and Humagne Rouge, spicy and deep. Highly precise alpine age-worthy wines.

The word of the wine: Second fermentation

In the making of champagne, fermentation of the base wine to which is added the liqueur de tirage and which takes place in the bottle. This second fermentation produces the carbon dioxide, and therefore the bubbles that make up the effervescence of the wine.
