Rhône cru on the right bank facing Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Gard): Grenache Noir signature as king red (>=40%) with Syrah and Mourvèdre — deep robe with notes of red and black fruits, garrigue, spices evolving to leather, liquorice, truffle and cocoa.
