Rita Hills. The Lincourt Estate is located in the famous Sta. Rita Hills wine appellation, in California, United States. This exceptional estate is nestled between rolling hills and panoramic views, creating perfect conditions for cultivating high-quality wines. Its geographical position, between the Pacific Ocean and the mountains of the central coast, provides an ideal microclimate for viticulture, characterized by cool sea breezes and sunny days. Established in 1996, the estate takes its name from two young girls in the family, Lindsay and Courtney, combining the two to create "Lincourt". The 30-hectare vineyard is spread across two main sites, each with unique features that are reflected in the wines they produce. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the two main varieties grown, with a focus on the elegant and refined style for which the estate is known. Lincourt Estate is recognized for its commitment to sustainable agriculture. They practice techniques such as water conservation, strategic pruning, and shading to maintain the health of their vines while reducing their environmental footprint. In addition, they use French oak barrels to age their wines, adding extra complexity and depth to their offerings. Wine tasting is a must-have experience at Lincourt Estate. Visitors are invited to relax on the spacious terrace overlooking the vineyards, enjoy a tasting led by passionate experts, or explore the on-site wine shop, which offers a selection of their most remarkable vintages.
