Heart of the Romagna vineyard between Bologna and Cesena, sub-Apennine hills with clay-calcareous soils. Sangiovese red king (~7,500 ha, 123 clones): structured and brilliant with red cherry, plum, violet, Mediterranean herbs and mineral touch — sunnier and fruitier Romagna version than Tuscany, from young gulping to Riserva (flagship cru Predappio).
