Ligurian DOC of the Levant (La Spezia, neighbour of Cinque Terre), steep schist terroirs facing the sea. Vermentino (40–75%) as the signature white: crisp and sunny with intense notes of citrus, white flowers, Mediterranean herbs and a superb saline-iodine touch, vibrant acidity ideal with seafood. Native Albarola and Bosco as complements. Sangiovese (≥40%) and Ciliegiolo as the signature reds: red fruits, garrigue and a peppery touch.
