Discover the grape variety: Lercat

Most certainly Pyrenean of Jurançonnais more precisely. It has long been confused with the lauzet, although its leaves are somewhat different. It is practically no longer present in the vineyards, which means that it is clearly on the way out. Published genetic analyses have revealed that it is related to one or more grape varieties, including Courbu Blanc. The wine region of West Virginia

West Virginia is a state in the eastern United States, located entirely within the Appalachian mountain range. The region's rugged and varied topography offers a wide range of terroirs within the state, and a range of vinifera, native and HybridGrapes can be found in the small number of vineyards. The best wines are produced from the Riesling grape, but Seyval Blanc, Marechal Foch and various fruit wines are also produced in the state. West Virginia covers a modest 24,250 square miles (62,750 km²), bordered by Pennsylvania and Ohio to the North and Virginia and Maryland to the east.

The word of the wine: Rebêche (champagne)

Must obtained in excess of the 2 550 litres authorised for a weight of 4 000 kilos of grapes. The first 2 050 litres constitute the cuvée and the next 500 litres the taille. The rebêche represents 1 to 3 % of the total volume and must be distilled or used to make ratafia.
