The wine region of Neusiedlersee-Hügelland

The wine region of Neusiedlersee-Hügelland is located in the region of Burgenland of Weinland of Austria. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Scheiblhofer or the Domaine Prieler produce mainly wines red, white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Neusiedlersee-Hügelland are Chardonnay, Zweigelt and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. The designation applies only to white wines from the Grüner Veltliner Grape variety.
