Supple Merlot on clay soils adds roundness (plum, red fruits). Dense Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc complete it. Evolving bouquet (roast, truffle, prune, leather).

5 Classed Growths (1855). AOC (1935), well-drained gravels, oceanic.
