Portuguese DOC north-west of Lisbon, the region's largest vineyard (Atlantic climate, clay-limestone soils). Fernão Pires is the white king (present throughout): pale, lively and fruity with citrus, green apple, white flowers and a delicate aromatic touch, crisp acidity.
