Located in the heart of the prestigious Côte de Nuits vineyard in Burgundy, Domaine Vigot Fabrice has become a respected and appreciated name among fine wine lovers in just a few years. Representing the fifth generation of winemakers in this family devoted to the land and its fruit, Fabrice Vigot oversees Domaine Vigot Fabrice with an ardent love for wine and profound respect for the environment. He took over the family estate of 4.5 hectares in 2000. Passionate and ambitious, he has managed to evolve the cultivation practices towards sustainable viticulture that respects the environment. Indeed, the estate is farmed according to the principles of organic agriculture, without herbicides or pesticides. The estate mainly produces red wines from the Pinot Noir grape variety, whose finesse and elegance are widely recognized. Among its most famous vintages are the Gevrey-Chambertin, a rich and full-bodied wine, and also the Bourgogne, lighter and fruitier. In his cellars with traditional architecture, Fabrice Vigot works the wines with a concern for authenticity, in search of the purest expression of the terroir. Harvesting is done manually, wine-making is carried out with traditional methods, and aging is performed in oak barrels for a duration of 12 to 18 months.
