The Domaine De Caybergh is a unique winery located in the picturesque region of Flanders in Belgium. Originally established with the aim to revive the lost tradition of viticulture in Flanders, the estate has flourished, emerging as one of the rising stars of the Belgian wine landscape. This estate is situated on Belgian lands at Langemark-Poelkapelle, which once served as battlefields during World War I. This dark history has given rise to a bright present, the rich and fertile soil allowing the estate to produce a variety of high-quality grapes. The unique geological feature of Flanders is such that even in Belgium, the climate here is relatively mild, favoring the growth of vineyards and giving the Domaine De Caybergh’s wine its unique character. The Domaine De Caybergh was founded by the Desimpelaere family, who have a clear vision of the quality of wine that should be produced in Flanders. They strive to fully exploit the exceptional terroir to produce the finest wines possible. Their approach is centered on sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture, which is appreciated by those who value conscientious wine production. The estate produces a variety of wines, ranging from Chardonnay to Pinot Gris as well as elegant and refreshing sparkling wines. The wines of Domaine De Caybergh are known for their elegance, structure, and the complexity of their aromas. Each bottle clearly expresses the rich and unique terroir of Flanders. A visit to the Domaine De Caybergh is an experience in itself. Visitors are invited to explore the lush vineyards, discover the wine cellar and taste the wines.
