Also as fresh, easy-drinking Croatian rosés. Often blended with Plavac Mali for accessible Dalmatian reds. Indigenous Croatian black grape, grown on the Dalmatian coast, mainly in Central Dalmatia.

The freest category of French wine, the playground of winemakers working outside the AOC. All styles combined: fruity reds, lively or ambitious whites, everyday rosés, unusual blends, natural wines, atypical grapes (Petit Manseng in Languedoc, Riesling in Provence), experimental winemaking (skin-contact whites, no sulphur). The word of the wine: Wooded

A set of aromas brought about by ageing in barrels (usually oak). This can be pleasant when, in small doses, it brings a touch of spice, roast or vanilla to an already constructed ensemble.
