The Château Malescot St. Exupéry wine estate, located in Margaux, France, is one of the most famous vineyards in the region. It is situated approximately 15 kilometers west of Bordeaux and at the southern end of the Margaux appellation. The estate is named after the French writer and pilot, Antoine de Saint Exupéry, who was the owner of the estate for a period. The vineyard was established in 1731 by Monsieur Malescot and has known many successive owners. Since its foundation, the estate has been able to adapt to changes and natural challenges, enabling it to produce high-quality wines. Château Malescot St. Exupéry extends over more than 20 hectares, and primarily produces red wines. The soil of the estate is rich and varied, with a strong presence of limestone that favors the production of superior quality wines. A blend of different grape varieties, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot are grown on the estate to produce wines known for their fruity aromas and shiny appearance.
