Grown in Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic for characterful aromatic white wines of Central Europe. Synonym of the Hungarian Irsai Oliver, aromatic white variety bred in 1930 by Pál Kocsis (Pozsonyi Fehér × Pearl of Csaba).
