Vinified mainly as sweet, passito and liqueur wines. The star of Moscato di Pantelleria DOC (Sicily), Málaga DO, Setúbal DOC. The English name for Muscat d'Alexandrie, a historic aromatic variety from the eastern Mediterranean.
