The wine region of Chios

The wine region du Chios is located in the region in Aegean Sea in Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Ariousios or the Domaine Ariousios produce mainly wines red and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Chios are Assyrtiko et Agiorgitiko, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Chios often reveals types of flavors of earth, tree fruit or citrus fruit.
