Discovered in 1819, it is the result of an interspecific cross between Vitis Labrusca Linné and Semillon (F. Huber 2016). The wine region of Bielersee is located in the region of Neuchâtel of Switzerland. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Beat Burkhardt - Weingut Bielerhaus Ligerz or the Domaine Hämmerli produce mainly wines white, red and pink.
