Slovenia's largest wine region around Maribor and Ormož, Germanic heritage of former Lower Styria. Signature aromatic dry whites dominate. Renski Rizling (Rhine Riesling) taut and mineral with signature notes of lemon, white peach, white flowers and a petrol touch.
