The wine region of Chianti Colli Aretini is located in the region of Chianti of Toscane of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Mannucci Droandi or the Domaine I Selvatici produce mainly wines red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Chianti Colli Aretini are Sangiovese, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Chianti Colli Aretini often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or microbio and sometimes also flavors of oak, red fruit or black fruit.
In the mouth of Chianti Colli Aretini is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 8 estates and châteaux in the of Chianti Colli Aretini, producing 11 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Chianti Colli Aretini go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, veal or poultry.
