Discovering the wine region of Tolna
The wine region of Tolna is located in the region of Dél-Pannónia of Hungary. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Tolnai or the Domaine Tűzkő produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Tolna are Merlot, Cabernet franc and Chardonnay, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Tolna often reveals types of flavors of earth, tree fruit or non oak and sometimes also flavors of oak, spices or red fruit.
We currently count 10 estates and châteaux in the of Tolna, producing 40 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Tolna go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or shellfish.

Château Peyrabon in Bordeaux gets new owner
BCAP, a group controlled by the Castéja family, has agreed to acquire Château Peyrabon and Château La Fleur Peyrabon from Millésima, a subsidiary of the Bernard family, a joint-statement by both families said. Financial details weren’t disclosed.
