The wine region of Korinthos is located in the region of Peloponnesos of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Papargyriou or the Domaine Papargyriou produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Korinthos are Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Korinthos often reveals types of flavors of cream, plum or tropical fruit and sometimes also flavors of cranberry, raspberry or strawberries.
In the mouth of Korinthos is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 14 estates and châteaux in the of Korinthos, producing 39 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Korinthos go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or spicy food.
