Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Mai et Kenji Hodgson or the Domaine de la Bergerie (Yves Guégniard) produce mainly wines red, sweet and white. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Coteaux du Layon 'Rablay-sur-Layon' are Chenin blanc et Cabernet franc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
