The wine region of Malleco Valley

Chile's southernmost wine valley (40°S, 540 km south of Santiago) between the Andes and Nahuelbuta range, cool rainy climate, red volcanic clay soils. Chardonnay is the signature white — taut and pure with intense citrus, green apple, white flowers and mineral notes, racy acidity worthy of Burgundy. Fine silky Pinot Noir with red fruits, cherry and floral notes, supple tannins. Pure traditional-method sparkling.

The wine region of South

Southern Australia regional zone (18 GIs including Barossa, McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, Clare, Adelaide Hills). Shiraz leads in powerful, solar reds of blackberry, plum, pepper, dark chocolate and a balsamic-spicy touch, fleshy tannins and long ageing. Firm Cabernet Sauvignon and supple Grenache as GSM blend partners. Dry, mineral Clare Riesling as the white pinnacle.

The word of the wine: Bouquet

The tertiary aromas that develop during aging and characterize the wine at its peak. This term is improperly used to refer to the aromas of a wine in general.
