The wine region of Nisava-South Morava

Wine region of southern Serbia (around Niš, Južna Morava valley, sub-appellations Toplica and Niš), hilly terroirs under a temperate continental climate. 14th-century native Prokupac signature in structured, fruity royal red with intense black cherry, wild red fruits, herbs (dill), pepper, spices and a refined tannic-balsamic note, graceful ageing (20+ years). Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay as complements. Balkan renaissance.

The wine region of Central Serbia

Wine heart of Serbia, mosaic vineyards between 200-500 m on the Morava valleys. Signature Prokupac, an autochthonous grape documented since the 14th c. : deep ruby reds with signature notes of red fruits (cherry, raspberry), sweet spices, dried herbs and a peppery touch, balanced tannins and a fresh palate — a Serbian identity. Also dense, fleshy Vranac (blackberry, leather), aromatic Tamjanika (local Muscat).

The word of the wine: Full-bodied

A rich, concentrated wine that offers consistency in the mouth.
