Resulting from a sowing carried out in 1857 in Angers (Maine and Loire Valley) by Jean-Pierre Vibert and from 1863 marketed by the Moreau-Robert company. According to genetic analyses, this variety is the result of a cross between the royal madeleine and the blanc d'ambre. The wine region of Western Cape

The Western Cape is home to the vast majority of the South African wine industry, and the country's two most famous wine regions, Stellenbosch and Paarl. The city of Cape Town serves as the epicenter of the Cape Winelands, a mountainous, biologically diverse area in the south-western corner of the African continent. A wide variety of wines are produced here. Wines from the Shiraz and Pinotage">Pinotage grape varieties can be fresh and juicy or Full-bodied and gutsy.

The word of the wine: Serious

A Bordeaux term for small pebbles from the Pyrenees, eroded, rounded and transported by the Garonne to Aquitaine. They are mainly found on the left bank in the area.... known as the Graves, and further downstream in the Médoc. By extension, gravel is found in other regions, brought by other rivers or even glaciers.
