The wine region of Gaillac

The wine region of Gaillac is located in the region of Haut-Pays of South West of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Robert & Bernard Plageoles or the Château de Saurs produce mainly wines red, white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Gaillac are Duras, Merlot and Mauzac, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
