The wine region of Kastoria

The wine region of Kastoria is located in the region of Macedonia of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Κτήμα Στεργίου or the Domaine Κτήμα Στεργίου produce mainly wines white and red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Kastoria are Riesling, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Kastoria often reveals types of flavors of microbio, vegetal or citrus fruit and sometimes also flavors of tropical fruit, oak or spices.
