Discover the grape variety: Serna

Simple, fresh dry whites with a pale golden colour, a supple palate with moderate acidity and understated aromas of citrus and white flowers. Discreet rustic profile. Preserved in a few ampelographic collections for its heritage value; belongs to the old varieties whose commercial diffusion has almost disappeared and which are studied for their genetic and historical interest. Rare, poorly documented white variety cultivated in negligible quantities.

The wine region of Pocerina

Hilly wine region of western Serbia around Mount Cer (east of Belgrade), a recognised specialist in Pinot Noir. Signature Pinot Noir as elegant, silky red with cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry and floral-spicy notes, fine tannins and refined acidity. Crisp Chardonnay with citrus and mineral notes as white. Autochthonous Prokupac, Morava and aromatic Tamjanika as complements.

The wine region of Central Serbia

Wine heart of Serbia, mosaic vineyards between 200-500 m on the Morava valleys. Signature Prokupac, an autochthonous grape documented since the 14th c. : deep ruby reds with signature notes of red fruits (cherry, raspberry), sweet spices, dried herbs and a peppery touch, balanced tannins and a fresh palate — a Serbian identity. Also dense, fleshy Vranac (blackberry, leather), aromatic Tamjanika (local Muscat).

The word of the wine: Roundup

Woody part of the grape bunch to which the berries are attached.
