DOC in Arad county (Crișana, western Romania) at the foot of the Zarand mountains, viticulture documented since the 11th century. Cadarcă (Kadarka) is the signature red king: spicy and fruity with red cherry, raspberry, plum, pepper, paprika and herbal touch, fine tannins and lively acidity.
