The wine region of Telavi
The wine region of Telavi is located in the region of Kakheti of Georgia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Marani or the Domaine Marani produce mainly wines white, red and sweet. The wines of Bordeaux (based on Cabernet and Merlot) are full of tannins, those of Burgundy much less so, with Pinot Noir containing little.
