Discover the grape variety: Tibouren

Elegant, complex rosés with a pale salmon robe, airy palate and fresh acidity, showing refined aromas of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry), garrigue, Mediterranean herbs, white flowers and characteristic saline, iodine notes. Also vinified as light, fragrant reds. Star of Provence's great rosés from Côtes de Provence AOC (Cru Classé, Saint-Tropez area). Autochthonous Provençal variety from the Var, likely imported from the Middle East by ancient Phocaean sailors.

The wine region of C&oacuterdoba

One of South America's oldest wine regions (vines planted by Jesuits in the early 17th century), central Argentina. The cool, high-altitude Calamuchita Valley favours whites. Malbec leads in reds — fleshy and sun-drenched with notes of blackberry, plum, violet, gentle spices and a hint of liquorice, supple tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon is firm and Syrah spicy.

The wine region of Andalousie

Dry, sun-baked southern Spain, world cradle of fortified and oxidative wines. Sherry from Jerez is the signature: Palomino Fino under a veil of flor yields lively, saline Fino with signature notes of almond, yeast, green apple and a sharp iodine edge; more maritime Manzanilla (Sanlúcar); unveiled Oloroso in grand oxidation (walnut, caramel, tobacco). Pedro Ximénez from Montilla-Moriles: intense dark sweet (fig, raisin, coffee, molasses). Also muscat Málaga.

The word of the wine: Doucillon
