Merlot reigns in supple red with plum, cherry, chocolate and Mediterranean herb touch, round tannins. Dense Cabernet Sauvignon, peppery Syrah, sunny Grenache (up to 84% in DOK Gozo). Ample Chardonnay, Girgentina white and Gellewa red, indigenous and phylloxera-resistant.
