Refreshing, drink young. Early-ripening variety suited to northern climates: grown in Germany (Rheinhessen, Mosel), the UK, New Zealand and Japan. German hybrid created in 1939 at Geisenheim (müller-thurgau × madeleine angevine × calabreser fröhlich).
