It was given until then as coming from a cross between Riesling and Sylvaner, but genetic tests have shown that its father is the Bouquettraube (Bukettrebe), and it is closely related to the Kerner. Patrimonio is an appellation for white, red and rosé wines from the southern tip of the Cap Corse peninsula in Corsica, an island in the Mediterranean Sea between France and Italy.
